Amulets are a way of working on our requests indirectly, carrying them with us or incorporating them into our rituals can bring us great benefits. In Celtic culture they were very important, as they used them in everyday life to reflect their values and beliefs.
In ancient Celtic culture, the druids stood out, the main members of the priestly and philosophical class of that society. They had a lot of influence due to their extensive knowledge of nature and the cosmic world, for that reason they were known as healers, priests, spiritual leaders and guardians of knowledge. The druids considered that the trees were sacred and that they had great magical properties, that is why they met in the forests to perform their rituals and ceremonies.
With the symbols they created different amulets that were believed to have magical properties, which helped to obtain benefits or provided help to achieve the purposes. They used them mainly to protect themselves in battles and from bad vibrations, to attract luck and fortune. They also used them to send messages, whether it was to mark territory, differentiate classes or make requests.
They engraved them in stone, metal and wood, in different places such as monuments, utensils or weapons to be able to make their requests. Wood engravings stood out above all for their sacred recognition and their relationship with nature. In addition to the fact that it was a material that allowed them to be versatile and that had preservation after using it over time.
There are many properties that amulets can offer us, so it is important to know which one we need in order to achieve what we most desire.
On this occasion we have designed amulets inspired by Celtic culture, made of wood and with engraved Celtic symbols. Thanks to the union of these two elements, wood and symbols, we can enhance the properties of each of them. We can also see that we focus on 4 symbols: the protective shield, the witch's knot, the eternal love knot and the solar cross.
To charge your amulets you can light 4 candles symbolizing the 4 elements and make a prayer linked to the purpose of your amulet. You can add incense, either in a cone or a stick, to give the charging ritual more strength.
