When we perform rituals and requests with candles, many times we need to be able to give more information or data about our request to create an effective ritual. Names, dates or addresses are data that are usually included, always depending on the objective we have.
A very simple example to see is when we want to sell a property, where the address will be a key piece of information for the ritual. Also in judicial matters where we have a place and time for a summons, it will be important to be able to give all that information that we have available to our candles. There are different ways to offer data in our rituals 😉 That's why today we want to explain how to do it!
All we need is a sharp object! With it we will write on the wax the name of the person on whom the ritual is centered (either ours or someone else's). We can also engrave dates if necessary. How to do it? The direction in which we engrave the text is important in these cases. If what we are looking for is to attract, promote or make any positive request, we will always write from the wick to the base. On the other hand, if what we are looking for is to cut, delete or move away, we will write them from the base towards the wick.
Another way of giving information is placing a small piece of paper with all the data we consider necessary for the ritual. We can put names, dates, addresses, and even the entire petition. The paper should be placed under the candle or to the side. If we place it just below the candle, it is very important to put a small piece that does not protrude excessively from its edges. What needs to be taken into account? If it is a request that seeks to eliminate or end something, we will burn that paper with the candle flame. For the rest of the requests, those that focus on attracting positive aspects, we will keep the parchment or paper until the request is fulfilled.
When we make requests for another person, it is important to know how we direct that desire so that the energies move in that direction. All our candles come with a prayer to make, but we must bear in mind that it is a base that we can adapt to our needs. Therefore, if we make a request for another person, we will have to make this sentence in the third person, that is, instead of “I”, we will have to say “he or she”.
Apart from this focus on prayer, photographs can also be very helpful. A very specific example is the rituals of love or health, which we specially direct to a person.
